shares increased 3% in Wednesday’s premarket trading after the restaurant company reported earnings for the third quarter and sales that met expectations. The company, whose brands include Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and KFC, reported net sales for the third quarter of $ 454 million, or $ 1.40 per share, from $ 418 million, or $ 1.18 per share last year.
