Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has a very full roster of every Smash character ever, along with some new additions. An insignificant absent member of the roster is Waluigi, Luigi Doppelganger who has featured in several Mario sports games. The French War has been going on, and is sure Nintendo has heard you.
In conversation with Nintendo in Canada’s Andrew Collins, Okay Cool noted the fanclub to put Waluigi in the game, including an appearance in the Washington Post. Collins made it clear that the company has seen your fundamentals and passions.
“I think it’s good when something builds naturally because you as a marketer, when you have something that gets viral, it’s brilliant,” he said. “You can not buy it, you can not create it, and when the fans do something then it’s amazing. But it’s so good to see from a passionate side of things and let’s meet it, it’s fun. I’ve seen some of the pictures. I have seen some of the artwork that people have created, and it’s great to see their passion. “
Obviously, there is no promise that Waluigi actually comes to the game, but a confirmation from Nintendo that it has seen the answer is more than nothing. It may be enough to invite the company to add him as downloadable content.
Nintendo has already announced that another five soldiers come as DLC along with free Piranha Plant DLC for early buyers. Each package costs $ 6 and comes with a new fighter, a new stage and a variety of tracks. They will be available as a bundle for $ 25, which will also cost you an outfit based on Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The roster for these DLC fighters is already set so if Waluigi is ultimately intended to smash with the rest of its compatriots, plans are already in motion.
The last round of announced characters included Incineroar from Pokemon and Ken from Street Fighter, and you can see them in action here. Smash Bros. Ultimate will meet on December 7th. For more information, check out our pre-order guide.
