Here is a preview and prediction for each match on the card at the initial edition of WWE Crown Jewel.
Like it or not (no, do not get into one of the debates here), WWE Crown Jewel is ready for this Friday, November 2 from King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As I’m sure most of you know, there has been a series of controversies surrounding this particular pay-per-view event following the relegation of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, but this second event in the 10-year deal with Saudi General Sports Authority is scheduled as planned Now it’s only time to focus on what we will get on the WWE network at noon east / 9:00 on Friday.
Shawn Michaels will make his trip after more than eight years as he and Triple H have once again reformed DX and take on The Undertaker and Kane. “Best in the World” will be crowned in Riyadh as an eight man (not including John Cena, who refused to travel to Saudi Arabia), seven matches the WWE World Cup tournament will take place all night, with some very exciting matches possible.
Many titles will take place, including Braun Strowman against Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship released after Roman Reign’s shocking message last week that he is struggling with leukemia. The WWE Championship Match has also recently changed after Daniel Bryan also refused to make the trip and has been replaced by Samoa Joe, who will once again fight AJ Styles for the game’s biggest prize. It has been talked about adding a Cruiserweight Championship Match with Buddy Murphy and Mustafa Ali, but it has not been confirmed at the writing.
On the dock there is also a SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match with the bar to defend their beginners. won titles against The New Day. We start there and continue along the line with predictions for each match on WWE Crown Jewel.
The SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
The Bar (c) vs. The New Day
The new day has had some epic battles with Sheamus and Cesaro in the past and there is a strong chance that we will get another here. The odds are now even with Big Shows’ early 1000sback slamming the 1000s of SmackDown a couple of weeks back so it’s sure to get into play.
Prediction: I would like to see The Bar stay here, mainly due to the fact that I would like to see Big E come back to singles action. However, the new day still sells lots of goods so it’s unlikely to happen. But I’ll still go with Sheamus and Cesaro here with the Big Show and make sure they get the win.
