0-year-old Wisconsin girl was held Monday on charges of first-degree murder at the death of a child last week.  District Attorney Wade Newell said the girl, as NBC News did not identify, stamped on the 6 month old boy’s head at a day care center in the city of Tilden on October 30, according to the NBC affiliate WEAU. 19659007] The girl had paniced after losing the infant, Newell said during a hearing at the Chippewa County Circuit Court, the station reported.
“The child hit the head of the footpole and then the baby started crying,” said Newell. to the station. She “did not know what she would do and did not want to get in trouble and then she continued to stumble on the 6 month old head.”
The boy, whom the authorities have not identified, were flown to a hospital in St. Petersburg. Paul, Minn., Where he died on November 1, Chippewa County Sheriff James Kowalczyk said in a statement.
