Respawn Entertainment has shown that they currently have no plans to adjust the highly maligned Mozambique in Apex Legends.
Mozambique is a shotgun gun intended for fights in very close range, but with only three shots in the chamber and a spread that makes landing shots often feel quite awkward, it has been noticed by many players as the weakest gun in the game.
An underpowered weapon may be on the less problematic end of the balance query spectrum, because a overruled weapon is more likely to affect the players’ enjoyment of the game, but it has nevertheless been required that it be improved for those cases where players are forced to use it on the basis of of an alternative.
Mozambique has been named the weakest weapon in play.
Right now, however, it seems that Respawn is not too concerned about the state of Mozambique. When asked about the weapon, the primary weapon designer Sean Slayback stated that the team’s current intention was to simply “enjoy the memes” and advised players who used the aiming of the sights to reduce the spread, making it easier to land a big hit. 19659003] Slayback also raised the broader issue of arms balance, pointing out that Respawn has paid attention to the player’s feedback but is currently satisfied with the balance of the live game right now.
“We look and listen and collect lots of data! And we fix bugs that we see here and sent to us on Twitter. (Thank you all for the wide btw.)
In general, it feels like the arms balance is pretty good at live games. We will not push new balance changes very often, but when we do, our goal is to make you feel cool. “
Although Apex Legends has been out for less than three weeks , Respawn has already added the first new weapon in the game, and another has leaked. It therefore seems unlikely that the players will have to worry too much about the game getting old.
In addition to new weapons, Respawn is expected to add new Legends and new loots to the game every season, the first of which will kick in March.
