Yesterday, the, a device that made us fall in love at first sight , and that offers what 80% of manufacturers sell at double the price. As an Android Stock lover, OnePlus is one of my biggest recommendations, however, this year Xiaomi has done things very well, so much so, that I would buy the Mi Mix 2S before the OnePlus 6 .
Touch, then, to talk about the reasons why I would do with the Mix before Carl Pei’s last creation. As usual, it is a personal opinion that you do not have to share , but you will surely understand more than one.
Yes, the 519 euros of OnePlus 6 are fine, but the 499 euros of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S are even better . Considering that it is a terminal finished in ceramics, in front of the OnePlus glass, and that the hardware is identical, the balance of the price inclines in favor of the Xiaomi, which achieves a spectacular quality-price relationship -without diminishing the effort that has OnePlus made by adjusting the price-.
However, there are many buyers who go to the euro , and it is somewhat difficult to justify the price difference between one and the other, taking into account that they are virtually identical terminals.
Xiaomi has achieved a front almost all screen without having to resort to the notch. OnePlus has joined the trend, with a notch more trimmed than usual , but notch after all. When this ridiculous trend ends, all the mobile phones with notch will be seen as an anecdote, like that temporary arrangement we made until we discovered that that eyebrow was not necessary.
The design of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is more premium thanks to the ceramic , and on a personal level, I think a terminal more elegant than the OnePlus 6, the latter being another wonder.
OyxgenOS is a great ROM, but details like a mobile that is in Android 8.1 have the settings of Android Nougat, are not too understandable . The OnePlus latency – we expect the OnePlus 6 to change things – is usually too high, so even though they are extremely fast terminals, the response of the screen is not entirely accurate.
Xiaomi, on the other hand, does take care of these details, and taking into account that you can install the Android P Developer Preview 2 , you can forget MIUI a good season. As you can see, it is two similar but different terminals at the same time, and it is to personal pleasure to choose between one or the other.
Which one do you stay with?
