LAS VEGAS – UFC President Dana White was impressed by Kamaru Usman’s victory over Rafael dos Anjos at The Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale, so much that could make him the next title shot.

From all previous appearances, Colby Covington (14-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) has come next to challenge UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley (19-3-1 MMA, 9-2-1 UFC). Usman’s dominant unanimous decision-making against dose Anjos has nevertheless shifted the story, and the UFC boss has reconsidered the scenario.

“I would like to see (Usman) fight Woodley now after seeing it,” said White to reporters, including MMAjunkie, during his TUF 28 Final after-event scrum. “Listen, Colby Covington pulled out of the fight, did not defend his belt, this and all. I’m one of these guys when I’m just watching a fight like this, I want to see the Usman battle now.”

Even though he rides high on Usem’s ninth straight victory that took place in the FS1

TV headlight at the Pearl Theater, White was sure to clarify that he did not make an immediate decision. [19659002] “We’ll see what’s going on, but” said White. “I’m not saying that’s the case (that Usman will fight Woodley next). Certainly (it’s possible). Nothing is guaranteed in life, man. Nothing is guaranteed in life.”

Whatever happens, the next one said White that his opinion was changed to Usman (14-1 MMA, 9-0 UFC) after taking an almost perfect 25-minute performance against the former UFC lightweight champ dos anjos. That was exactly what White needed to see Usman, who has been pushing for greater opportunities, because he has made an unbeaten run up the rankings.

“I’ve talked a lot about him in his latest several fights, because I feel he’s talking too much and does not do enough in the octagon,” said White. “Well, he looked damn good tonight. Tonight he went in, and he delivered. He stopped harder in the fifth round than he was in the first round. Just punching, kicking, wrestling – it all was impressive. I have so much respect for “RDA”. The guy is a stud. He said it himself. He has been here for 10 years, he has been fighting all the best. Every time “RDA” enters there it is incredible. So, Usman looked good tonight. “

Pressing for a solid response to the future of the UFC welterweight title and who will be next, Woodley, White-secured, challenges Chelsea. He suggested that negotiations on a match between Woodley and Covington have killed a deadlock and it remains to see what’s going on in the future.

“No (update on Woodley),” said White. “All these guys. Do not let me go. Do not let me go. “
