FRIENDSWOOD, Texas (KTRK) –

The food camp of a Whataburger allegedly started between rival high schools escalated quickly from something small, according to an eyewitness.

It started with ketchup packages, then someone threw a drink, and it departed from there.

It’s almost like a scene of TV comedy, but it’s no fun about the confrontation that left a mess on Friday night at the fast food bout on the Gulf Freeway near El Dorado.

“I saw a drink fly in my face and I was like” heck no, “and I hugged behind a table, says the eyewitness Caleb Johnson.

Johnson is a senior at Clear Lake High School. He was there, and although he did not participate, he described what happened after a game between his school and district rival Clear Brook.

“There probably there were 1

50 children, “Johnson said.” But involved were probably who threw and shout in total. ”

After the match, Johnson finished most of the students in the security guard’s direction. He said he stuck with some students from both schools to help clean up.

Both campuses are part of Clear Creek ISD. The district is aware of what happened and issued a statement on Monday to Eyewitness News:

“Although this incident did not mean Clea r Creek Independent School District, occurred outside campus and without any association with any school-sponsored activity, school administrators are disappointed with the youth behavior involved. Unfortunately, the school district does not have jurisdiction over student papers of this kind in the district code of conduct. Both managers have personally reached the restaurant owner to assure him if a few actions do not reflect the entire student body. “

Johnson still can not believe what he saw.

” To the employees here, it was bad, “he said.” It should not have happened. However, it was disrespectful and rude. I’m sorry for anyone who has to clean. “

What for Whataburger did ABC13 go to the corporate office and asked for a statement. The company is aware of the event but has not yet submitted comments.
