Butler scored 28 points in his debut, Joel Embiid had 23 and Philadelphia 76ers beat Utah Jazz, 113-107, on Friday night.
Butler, the 4-hour All-Star acquired Minnesota in a five-player deal, received a high ovation during introductions and quickly impressed when Sixers built a 16-point lead in the first quarter.
