We’ve seen McLaren’s mighty 720S take a wide rage of opponents, including Ludicrous Mode-enabled Teslas, own 600LT brother and Nürburgring. Its the latest challenger? An electric Porsche 944.
Brought to us by DragTimes the extensively modified P-car in question has a pair of 11-inch DC motors that are good for about 980 horsepower and 1,500 pound feet of torque goes to rear wheels. It only weighs 2,450 pounds. On the other hand, the McLaren log supercar “only” 710 hp and 568 pound meters from its twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V-8 and weighs a relatively thick 3,180 pounds.
With that statistics, you probably assume that the drum sees Porsche would trounce the British exotic on the drawstrip. And you would be right.
