(Reuters) – US stocks opened higher on Wednesday on trade barriers between the US and China at the G20 summit, and as investors looked forward to the words of Fed Chairman Jerome Powell’s clue for clues on interest rate hikes.

Dow Jones Industrial Average () increased 84.11 percent, or 0.34 percent, open to 24.832.84.

S & P 500 () opened higher by 9.28 points, or 0.35 percent, at 2.691

.45. Nasdaq Composite () received 52.38 points, or 0.74 percent, to 7.135.08 at the opening clock.
