Takeaway Wire watch: Fantasy football week 12
Waiver Wire watch: Fantasy football week 12
This is the last time you have to handle byes this season – but the most challenging. Rams and Chiefs have a break after their historic Monday night, two exciting teams with many fantasy stars.
Tough timing, with many owners turning for important wins to boost playoff positioning. Some other important injuries also make it a decisive shutdown with just two weeks left in many regular plans for fantasies.
GUS EDWARDS, Ravens (0.2 percent owner)
The undrafted rookie took surprisingly the lead in Baltimore backfield in Week 11, rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown of 17 berries, and now he has a clear opportunity to continue as No. 1 RB as Ravens takes on Raiders. It’s a good match for Edwards to continue building on his speed. John Harbaugh does not seem to trust Alex Collins and there are not really any other competitors for the transport. You have to take the fly on Edwards, but keep in mind that Ravens has not leaned strongly on any RB this season than.
JOSH ADAMS, Eagles (28.1)
We have recommended this second undrafted rookie earlier and 22.1 percent of the fantasy players added him last week, but he is still underowned. Adams has not yet reached double-digit berries or 65 rushing yards in one game, but he was about to officially grab the lead role RB roll last week before the eagles blew out of the Saints. He gave Philadelphia’s only point on a 28-yard TD run and flashed upwards and we could see his best production this week in a much friendlier matchup with the giants.
LEGARRETTE BLOUNT, Lions (9.8)
The well-traveled veteran has rushed for just 16 meters in his last four games, when he became a complete reflection of Kerryon Johnson moving into clear lead back and Fantasy RB1 territory . But Johnson is expected to miss Thursday’s match against Chicago with knee injury and Blount should be the best ball carrier for Lions. It’s not a good match against Chicago’s elite driving team and Theo Riddick is a better addition to the PPR leagues if available but Blount will start for Detroit and may be the option if you need one week’s game and can not get Edwards or Adams .
