I live NEX is the next Vivo device, a terminal that will be presented next June 12 next to the I live APEX , the all-screen smartphone that so many looks and expectations generated in the past MWC 2018 in Barcelona. Unlike Lenovo Z5 , which left us quite cold with the presence of a notch, I live if it will be true to its word by presenting a device that would really lack notch and that would offer a very high screen density.
Already We knew many things about the Vivo NEX , and now we can confirm all its official characteristics thanks to the official store of the manufacturer, which leaked by mistake all the features of the devices for a few hours.
Although some reports suggest that there could be up to three variants of the Vivo NEX, the truth is that only two of them have appeared in the official store: they are the normal NEX Vivo and a S version that is somewhat more trimmed in features.
Both devices have almost all their characteristics in common, among which are a huge screen of 6.59 inches with resolution Full-HD + of 2316 x 1080 pixels and one Retractable type front camera that would only make an appearance when necessary.
For the rest, both devices are practically identical with the exception of the processor used and RAM. These are the characteristics of both the Vivo NEX and the Vivo NEX S:
As you can see, the only differences they focus on the process section and RAM, although this does not mean that the Vivo NEX S is not a very powerful smartphone, since it is the second in the market to use the Snapdragon 710 released with the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE .
The other big difference between both devices is the fingerprint reader, since only the Vivo NEX will integrate a fingerprint reader under the screen as the Vivo APEX already does, while the Vivo NEX S would use the classic solution of the sensor in the back Of the device.
For the rest, both models would share the rear cameras of 12 + 5 Mpx behind and 8 Mpx in the front, the battery of 4000 mAh with fast loading and operating system Android 8.1 Oreo modified with the proprietary interface of the company FunTouch OS 4 .
Although it has not yet been confirmed and we have not been able to see it on the official website, on June 12 a third version called I live NEX E, which would be very similar to Vivo NEX S, but integrating a notch on the screen to house the front camera and the sensors.
So far the prices of the devices have not been filtered, since the official store showed them both at a cost of 9999 yuan (1324 euros), so it is clear that it is not a real price and is yet to be determined. We will be attentive to new information.
