Two people died on Saturday during World War II resumption after the crash collapsed at the parking lot in a Texas apartment hotel, officials said.

Mustang crashed around 3:15 pm in Fredericksburg during the WWII Pacific Combat Program event, set by the National Museum of the Pacific War.

The museum officials went on Twitter to confirm that both passengers on the planet, including a veteran, had been killed.

The Federal Aviation Administration’s spokesman Lynn Lunsford said the aircraft was destroyed and several cars were also injured.

FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board investigate the crash, which occurred only 70 miles north of San Antonio.

Mustang was first built by North American Aviation 1940 and was used by the US military during World War II and the Korean War.

It was not immediately clear what caused the crash and the identity of the victims has not been released.
