Auckland-based healthcare company Vensa Health has added two new faces to its 20-strong team together with a global US based adviser, as the company reports 20,000 patients with its new vensa.com mHealth platform.
Vensa is best known for its TXT2Remind SMS service, which is used to deliver health messages and reminders. Vensa has invested millions in its vensa.com platform, enabling patients to book online meetings in real time and order and pay for repeated recipes. The company has appointed the former clinical analyst Samual Wong, St John New Zealand, as vice president of product innovations. Wong holds a doctorate in medical sciences from the University of Auckland and has been involved in Procare Health and Auckland DHB.
It has also appointed auditor Oliver Young as Executive Vice President of Economics and Strategy and US Doctor Dr. Jason Hwang as Global Advisor.
Dr Hwang, who also holds a MBA from Harvard Business School, will also be the lead researcher of a research initiative. Vensa Health is a company with the Precision Driven Health (PDH) consortium to automate the collection of millions of laboratory test results from training systems and analyze patient report reports on vensa.com.
