UFC fighter rankings: Important changes come out of UFC 235

UFC 235 made the ranking up and down. A new champion emerged from the event, while profitable new challengers made their claims in three different divisions. Heavyweight &#821

Bantam weight – Raphael Assuncao is up one to two. Aljamain Sterling is up two places to three. Munhoz is up five places after stopping former champion Cody Garbrandt. Hes on four, while Garbrandt fell four spots to six. Dominick Cruz is now over Garbrandt at five. Jimmie Rivera, John Lineker and Petr Yan all released a place to sit between seven and nine. Cody Stamann has two spots for ten. Rob Font is down to 11, while John Dodson is down one to 12.

Flyweight – No changes.

Women’s Bantamweight – Tonya Evinger passed Bethe Correia for the 11th place for no apparent reason. Macy Chiasson cracks the rankings at 14 after her UFC 235 victory. Talita Bernardo released one to 15.

Women’s Flight Weight – No Changes.

Women’s Strawweight – Zhang became an instant contestant with an impressive victory over Tecia Torres. She has eight spots for seven. Torres falls one to eight. Michelle Waterson, Carla Esparza, Cynthia Calvillo and Felice Herrig released a place to pick up the 9-12 positions. Alexa Grasso fell two spots to 14. Randa Markos is down one to 15.
