UFC 237 Weighing results: Title beats, but a stop was interrupted and a fighter misses bad

The UFC women's straw weight championship champion got the green light for UFC 237 after champion Rose Namajunas and challenger Jessica Andrade gained weight on Friday in Rio de Janeiro, but a debit card card was interrupted and a fighters were incredibly overweight. Neither Namajunas nor Andrade had any problems with the scale, both weighing 114.5 pounds for their straw lightweight game. It marks the first time in more than a year that Namajunas has entered the Octagon after taking the belt from Joanna Jedrzejczyk and defending it against her in an immediate rematch. Andrade enters a three-stroke winning stretch with his last defeat to Jedrzejczyk in May 2017. The planned UFC 237 pay-per-view opening between Francisco Trinaldo and Diego Ferreira was scraped during weighing in on Friday. Trinaldo made it to the scale, where he weighed 1 54.5 pounds for the light competition. Ferreira never arrived. According to MMAFighting's Guilherme Cruz, the Brazilian Athletic Commission for MMA (CABMMA) withdrew Ferreira from the bolt when it learned that he had developed kidney stones. The status of a preliminary match between Irene Aldana and Bethe Correia was still undecided at the time of publication, which Correia missed much. She rose on the 141 pound scale for her 135 pounds and didn't get any extra time to cut in weight. They had been slated to be the most important event before Robert Whittaker was withdrawn from his main event with Kelvin Gastelum due to a medical emergency requiring surgery.

Cannons enter the fight that comes off a victory over the former World Series of Fighting dual division campaign David Branch, as he tries to climb into the title claim has fallen from 205 pounds down to mid-range division with that bout.

Silva and Cannonier were weighted.

Jose Aldo, considered one of the greatest featherweight campaigns from all the time, fights in front of his homeland fans when faced with Alexander Volkanovski.

Aldo has won his last two games after losing back-to-back fights with the UFC Springweight Max Holloway campaign. Volkanovski, however, is 19-1 and runs a 16-betting distance containing six games inside the octagon.

Aldo needed a towel for weighing, but was at point 146 pounds while Volkanovski weighed 145.5 pounds.
