The McKenzie Milton UCF block fell away from the field after suffering what appeared to have been a serious bone injury during the second quarter in a game against South Florida. Milton was surrounded by teammates and coaches from both teams while attending the field by medical staff.

Milton suffered injury on a third game. After scrambling to pick up a first down on third and 7th, Milton took a hit on the right leg from a defender who made the roof. While there is no official word of the damage, it is possible to see what can be seen through TV cameras during play and afterwards it seems to be a serious harm to Milton.

Junior quarterback is one of the most productive in program history after starting his career led by now Nebraska coach Scott Frost. He has thrown for 8 597 yards, 71 touchdowns and 21 interceptions. Freshman Darriel Mack Jr. came in relief by Milton. Mack started instead of Hawaiian against East Carolina after Milton suffered a foot injury earlier in the season.

The riders are currently riding a 23-player winning line and hope for a new year’s six bowl for the second straight year.
