CLEVELAND, Ohio – We get ready to light 10 candles at the top workplaces in northeast Ohio birthday cake. At the celebration of a decade of honoring top companies, we are also planning a special top workplace 2019 winner event this year to coincide with the special section. More details about coming later.

But hello, it’s not about us. It’s about you, the local business community and who you know are the best companies to work for in northeastern Ohio. Let’s hear your nominations for this year’s 10th anniversary department.

The most common dealer’s workplaces in 201

9 aim to recognize employers in the area that do things right. It is a chance to honor those who create an environment and culture where the workers feel respected and rewarded and where the same workers feel as if they can enrich their skills while contributing to a mission they believe in.

Next month or so, we will accept nominations for candidate companies, then switch to thousands of employees to determine the 150 best places to work in northeast Ohio including Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina , Portage, Stark, Summit and Wayne County. Any company, government or nonprofit organization with at least 35 employees in these counties is eligible.

How it works:

Everyone can nominate a company. Plain Dealer’s Consultant, Energage will contact the nominated organization. To nominate an employer, go to cleveland.com/nominate or call 216-373-0585. The deadline for nomination is January 18, 2019.

When an activity has been nominated, employers themselves decide not to participate, The Plain Dealer, Cleveland.com or Energage. The results are based on how many investigated employees agree to statements like “I’m really appreciated in this company” and “My salary is fair for the work I do.”

There are about two dozen questions at all and investigations take about five minutes to complete. Investigations expire from late January to mid March. Energage conducts investigations of the best workplaces for more than 50 major metronite organizations, such as the Chicago Tribune, the Boston Globe, Philadelphia Inquirer and Newsday.

The result of published June 16th, will list the 150 best winners and stories will be made on what they think contributes to their successes.

Make sure you nominate your business by going online to www.cleveland.com/nominate or call (216) 373-0585. You have until January 18th to nominate and stay up to date for future details about the special event scheduled to honor the winners.
