Three Israeli soldiers were wounded, one moderately and two lightly, in a suspected car-ramp attack on Route 60, near the Gush Etzion Junction, in the West Bank, south of Jerusalem.
Israel Defense Forces spokesman released a statement following the ramming attack saying that a terrorist rammed his car into three soldiers while road work was underway on Route 60.
The spokesman said that one soldier was moderately injured and the other two soldiers suffered mild injuries.
One of the soldiers shot the terrorist.
The soldiers were taken to a hospital to receive medical care.
Two months ago an Israeli-American, Ari Fuld, was killed in a stabbing attack at the entrance to a mall near the junction. Full shot and moderately wounded the assailant, Khalil Jabarin, a 1
7-year-old Palestinian from the West Bank village of Yatta near Hebron after he was stabbed.
Full was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem with injuries to his upper body before succumbing to his wounds. Thousands attended Full’s funeral in Kfar Etzion.
