The low range never updates, who said that? Traditionally, the manufacturers neglect their cheaper mobiles , to focus on updating the most expensive. This is not the case of Nokia, who has equipped Android One with all its new terminals , and whose terminals of 2017 are updated, practically in its entirety, to the latest version of Android.
The last to receive Android Oreo has been the Nokia 3, a mobile of just over 100 euros , which is added to the low percentage of terminals updated to the latest version of our operating system.
Neither the processor of MediaTek nor the scant remaining of the hardware of this Nokia 3 has prevented to HMD to endow it with his deserved ración of Android Oreo. Nokia claims to work hand in hand with Google to provide fast, quality updates , and although we are already touching the equator of 2018, updating a terminal of this price range is something to applaud.
As Juho Sarvikas himself tells us , one of the main visible faces of HMD Global , the Nokia 3 is already starting, from today, to update to Android Oreo 8.0, one of the latest versions that can be installed on an Android terminal.
In the meantime, terminals last year that came to cost up to 5 times more than this mobile, are still on Android Nougat , and is that not all firms put the effort that Nokia puts when it comes to updating their phones. From here, we applaud the decision to keep the whole range updated, and to bet on the software, something that we are not used to seeing in the rest of Android manufacturers. If you have a Nokia 3 you just have to wait for the OTA to arrive , and enjoy this new version, which will feel like a glove to your small mobile.
