Without making too much noise, Nokia has just presented its new mid and low range devices in Moscow: Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1 . These are smartphones that come to renew devices of the same name presented in 2017 and that come with an Android operating system without modifying, either Android Go or One.
This launch is global, so we will have these new smartphones in Spain too, and that is why we tell you their main features.
The most powerful of the devices already presented had been noticed earlier this month , and now it comes with a screen 5.5 inches with resolution Full-HD and an aspect ratio of 18: 9 , something that does not surprise us given the current trend.
We are facing a smartphone with a premium appearance, and proof of this is the presence of glass on both the front and the back, which comes protected by Gorilla Glass, although the specific version is unknown. Its thickness is 8.27 mm.
The Nokia 5.1 aims to include some high-end details like the NFC , but does not renounce the always useful headphone jack or the fingerprint sensor , circular and located in the center of the back.
The processor used is a MediaTek P18 with a frequency of 2 GHz and a total of eight cores (GPU Mali-T720 MP3, which is accompanied by 2 or 3 GB of RAM memory, which, according to Nokia, represents a 40% increase in performance compared to its predecessor.
For its part, the storage It is 16 or 32 GB depending on version , although it can be extended by microSD cards.
If you look at the photograph of the Nokia 5.1, we can see that it has a unique (that weird) sensor 16 MPx with focus by phase arrest (PDA), while to make selfies we have another sensor 8 Mpx We will see to what extent Nokia has optimized these sensors, although it usually offers good quality in their devices.
The Nokia 5.1 works with Android One and offers a fairly fair battery of 2.970 mAh. It can be purchased in colors black, copper and blue and it will have a price of 189 euros. It will be available as of next July .
The renovation of the first Nokia 3 comes also boasting glass and aluminum in its construction and integrates a panel of 5.2 inches with HD + resolution , with 18: 9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass protection.
The Nokia 3.1 has received a good boost in its performance section, since we went from a SoC MediaTek 6737 4-core to another Mediatek MT6750 of eight cores, what supposes an increase of yield near 50%, something more than praiseworthy.
The RAM of the device is available in versions of 2 and 3 GB capacity (previously there was a single 2 GB model) and the storage It is 16 or 32 GB according to version and expandable by micro-SD cards up to 128GB, like the Nokia 5.1.
This device, which also works under Android One, integrates a rear camera 13 Mpx and a front of 8Mpx , and like the Nokia 5.1, it also integrates NFC , something that is not usually seen in devices of this price.
The Nokia 3.1 does not renounce the headphone jack nor to the classic micro-USB, and interestingly, its battery is slightly larger than that of the Nokia 5.1, since it integrates 2,990 mAh .
The Nokia 3.1 can be purchased in colors blue, black, copper and white for a very tight price of 139 euros (The cheapest with NFC?). It will be available in the month of June of 2018.
