The first complete trailer for season two of Marvel’s Runaways has landed and retrieved right there season one ended, as the titular refugees finally fled over their parents. The teenagers find refuge in a cave in Griffith Park, dubbed The Hostel. At the same time, their parents gather in a secret place where they plan to track their missing children.

Executive producer Stephanie Savage said about the new season “This year there is much more cat and mouse [game] and the two sides are in war.” Savage also discussed the origin of the hostel and said “it was originally built in 1

920 the number of a magician. It lived for many years, [but] maybe sometime in the 60’s or 70’s there was an earthquake or mudslide that made it uninhabitable. We wanted it to be our equivalent to Batcave. “[19659003] “It’s the biggest set that Marvel Television has ever built,” says executive producer Josh Schwartz. “When [comic co-creator] Brian K. Vaughan came to the set for the first time, he had tears in his eyes.”

The trailer contains some action images of the teens fighting for their parents, with Nico Minoru saying “we” We will figure out how we use our forces together, like a team. “Teamwork seems to be a main theme for the new season, because Runaways must come together to meet Pride. But there may be a mole in the group that fans of the serial age can remember. We have to wait and see if the mole storyline will be the same as it was in the series.

We see scenes of Karolina bonding with her foreign father Jonah and exploring her mysterious rainbow powers as well as the massive hole in the field that the pride dug in the final of season one. And we also get another glimpse of Karolina and Nico’s love party, which will surely satisfy Deanoru-shippers.

We meet a new character, Topher (Jan Luis Castellanos), who also has powers. Topher is a vampire street criminal in the series series, but it is unclear whether he will to keep these attributes in the show.

The trailer leans into one of the most convincing themes in the series, namely children who regret the sin of their parents. The series fung feels like a practical parallel to the advent of politically engaged teenagers protesting against the corrupt and self-employed policy for the powers that are. Wet teens will save the world, everyone.

Runaways returns to Hulu on December 21st.
