Last week we told you that Telegram was having some problems with the Russian authorities . The Kremlin government wanted to force the company to give them the encryption keys for security reasons . With them in their hands, the Russian government and the secret service could access all the conversations that take place through this platform, something to which the company categorically refused.
Faced with the threat of blocking the servers of the application by the government of Vladimir Putin, the people of Telegram, with Pavel Durov and the lawyer Pavel Chikov in the lead, they have shown no fear of any . They have responded to the “request” to deliver the keys with a rather curious letter. And yes, they have delivered the keys .
As you can see in the image above, the letter addressed to the secret service was accompanied by a set of keys “of the Telegram platform” . The word keys in English means keys (security), but also keys , hence the play on words and trolling by Telegram to the very Russian intelligence service.
In case you were wondering, the letter contains the following message:
Dear Alexander Vasilievich,
Complying with the requirements of the Federal Law of July 6, 2016 No. 374-FZ “On Amendments to the Federal Law Against Terrorism” and the Federal Law of July 27, 2017, “On Information, ICT and security”. I send you the keys (2 units) of the Telegram platform.
With best wishes.

For the moment, the Russian government has not issued any response, either in the form of a letter or communication or with a movement one that can bring you closer to your goal. We assume that the play by Durov and his legal team will not have been particularly good in the Kremlin, so it is likely that the platform will suffer some problems in the coming dates.
