WASHINGTON (AP) – House Democrats present its first bill for the new congress, a government package to limit big money in politics, make it easier for citizens to vote and demand presidents to publish their returns. [19659002] The law, called HR 1, puts the tone of the Democrats because they are taking the majority in January.

The bill would create national voting and increase access to early online voting. It would increase federal support for government electoral systems, including paper fraud to prevent fraud.

Political groups would have to disclose donors, and congressmen should be prevented from serving on boards.
