Hot off the heels of Google, rebranding its mobile network this week from Project Fi to Google Fi, the company has aggressively marketed new deals to stimulate customers and create interest.
Yesterday, Google gave up to $ 1,000 in travel credits to both new and existing Fi customers who purchased a device through the Fi Store. The actual reward amount was an exact match between the price of the phone you bought. For example, a $ 899 Pixel 3 XL would provide a matching $ 899 travel gift card. However, Google tweet announced a premature end of the deal, probably due to extreme demand.
Today, the company offers a more restrictive deal, but it’s still a great option to save money if a transition to Google Fi was on your radar.
New customers can only get a free month with Google Fi when they ship an existing number to MNVO, provided they include a trusted device.
Service credits can cover a subscriber’s unlimited call and text, data usage and taxes for one month. Service credits can not cover international calls, data at a regular rate of 1
5 GB per month, device financing, device protection, group plan members costs, or activity that Google Fi considers to be excessive, addictive or fraudulent.
There are still some great savings to be found, such as the LG V35 ThinQ of $ 699 and a $ 100 credit with Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL. Anyway, if a transition to Google Fi was in your plans and you missed yesterday’s business, it might just be the perfect time.
The campaign runs through December 16, 11:59 PM PST.
