Duane “Dog” Chapman and his wife are positive.
Beth Chapman recently underwent surgery to remove a mass in the throat – which determined that her cancer had returned. However, the Bounty Hunter stars take it day by day and know that this is “not the end” for the 51-year-old leading lady.
“Another bend in the way, but not at the end of the road, #faith, #love #stayhumblepray.” Beth Chapman, “wrote a dog on Facebook on Thursday along with a photo of himself next to his wife in a hospital bed. Beth shared the same caption and photo on her Instagram, with friends and fans sending nothing but love, support and well-being.
ET learned Tuesday that Beth is currently recovering from a mass of surgically removed which was determined to be the reemergence of her neck cancer.
“Beth is still in the hospital recovering from Tuesday’s surgery,” said Chapman family lawyer Andrew Brettler to ET on Thursday. “Her family is with her and she tries to stay in a good mood. We still go for her and her doctor who work hard and drive tests to get the best treatment option.”
Cancer rates return just over a year after that Chapman declared himself cancer-free after a long battle with the disease. News of her fight with cancer first broke in September 2017, when she wrote a letter to dear who found herself in Honolulu Star Advertiser. In that she explained the situation and her determination to fight the disease.
“After months of soft coughing, a routine check resulted in a diagnosis of stage 2 throat cancer,” she wrote. “I have what is called a T2 tumor in my throat that blocks my breathing. My doctors suggest immediate treatment and surgery before the disease progresses.”
