This week on The Conners represents Sarah Chalke’s role as Andrea, while OG Becky makes a big decision
Becky has not seen Andrea since the surrogate accident. When Andrea walks into La Casa Bonita with her infant’s son in the trailer, she reveals to Becky that despite all the help that money can give, she is still overwhelmed by the motherhood. In fact, she is not even sure she has cut out to be a mom.
After Maria and Bridgette tell Becky that they would like to adopt their child, Becky takes precious time to think about. She knocks on her front door in the middle of the night and says she would like to go through the arrangement. She then walks over to Conner’s residence to talk to Darlene. Becky confesses that she is an alcoholic. She tells Darlene that she had a desire to drink ever since she discovered she was pregnant. Darlene assures Becky that she will receive her full support from her family if she is holding the child. In addition, if Becky’s drink becomes a problem, she will come in and help raise the child while her big sister gets her act together. Becky thank Darlene for not being a “damn troll” for once saying that she never felt closer to her sister. And with that, Becky Maria and Bridgette tell her that she has changed the arrangement.
