A boy from El Paso, Texas, took her mother’s brand new BMW on a joyride – and she was lively.
The boy’s sister, Liza Compero, shared videos on Twitter showing her angry mom in search of her little brother. Compero lived the tweeted pursuit of the 14-year-old daredevil (which she originally identified in tweets as 13) and it went viral.
Compero wrote that her brother Aaron disconnected Wi-Fi so their mother would not see him on their home camera. Then the teens jumped into her mother’s new Beemer and drove away. He apparently stopped at his girlfriend’s house and then retired.
Compero and her mother jumped in another car and led in the pursuit of the submarine. In a video, Liza seems to call another local mother who gives her information. “VAT is all snitches”, Compero tweeted.
Then in another video, the mother shows the black BMW on the road and draws next to it. “Go over now!” she shouts out through the window of her son.
The video then shows that she walks out of the car, marches up to her son in the driver’s seat and starts to beat him with a belt she brought. This last video received almost a million views on Twitter. “RIP to my brother,” wrote Compero in the caption.
The video has received great media attention and led to a barring of comments about social media. Some expressed sympathy for the Schurk teen driver while another said if they had a new BMW they would never let the keys out of their sight.
