While Facebook has problems with justice for violating the privacy policies of users, Telegram is about to have them on the contrary . A while ago, we told you that the Russian government requested the encryption keys of the application , something that Telegram refused in resounding.
Since the beginning of the application, Telegram has stood out for protecting the privacy of users , and they want it to remain that way. Thus, Russia could request the blocking of the application in the country , something that would deeply distress us.
As we can read in Genbeta , Russia would be calling for the blockade of Telegram, after refusing this to deliver encryption keys . Russia wants the data from the users’ conversations, something that is against the Telegram policy, and with what they are not willing to negotiate.
The Federal Service of Supervision of Telecommunications, comments that Russian federal law requires that the dissemination of Telegram information be accessible to the government . On the other hand, Pavel Durov – the father of Telegram – affirms that this law is unconstitutional, and that he is not willing to hand over the requested encryption keys.

The blockade of Telegram in Russia could take place in the next few hours, without a clear solution on the horizon. Pavel Durov will not accept to deliver the keys, nor the government will accept that the app works without delivering them . Unfortunately, the good work of an application is punished instead of rewarded, something that saddens us, and makes us understand that there is no privacy in the network, no matter how hard some try to do things the right way .
And you, what do you think about the Telegram blockade in Russia for defending your interests?
