5 with a shot injury. He had suffered from his injuries when the police arrived.
Mr Edlas Vehicle, a 2002 Subaru Forester, was later found about 6 miles from his home, in Atlantic City. After the vehicle was located by the officers, the suspect was tracked and arrested on November 16th. He was charged with the Juvenile Complaint with murder, robbery, carjacking, illegal possession of a gun.
“I’m just speechless right now. They could have just taken the car and let him go,” said Edla son Morrison in a report in NBCPhiladelphia.com.
A father of two, Mr. Edla, was 30 years old living in the Atlantic County, and worked in the Atlantic City hospitality industry. Edla left home for work when the teens shot him and fled his car.
A neighbor said the murderer encountered Edla and shot him dead on the sidewalk near the second floor stairs. Monitoring video showed teens ride up to Mrs. Edla’s home. The boy released his bike and hid when he waited for Edla to leave the house.
