The unknown suspect in the mysterious murder of two Delphi-8th graders can live in the small Indiana city, police said on Monday, when new information about the killer was released.

The male suspect is currently believed or formerly living in Delphi, working in town or visiting regularly, Indiana State Police Superintendent Douglas Carter said at a press conference.

He is believed to be between 18 and 40 years old, Carter said, but may seem younger than his age.

Carter said that the person who was seen in the picture could be the girl’s killer.

“We believe you are hiding in clear vision,” Carter said at the press conference and also “may be in this room.”

“We’ve probably interviewed you or someone close to you,” he said.

Delphi is a tight community with almost 3,000 people, called by the local sheriff as “small town USA.” is within walking distance of each other.

Two years after the double murder shocked the community, the Indiana State Police on Monday released the new sketch of suspect, as well as new audio and video evidence.

The never-before-seen video recovered from Libby phone shows the suspect to go on the bridge near where the girls were last seen.

“When you watch the video, look at the person’s manicures as they go,” Carter said on Monday. “Do you recognize the way someone you know?”

The authorities in 2017 released a grainy picture of someone who looked at the track the day the girls passed away and a chilling recording found on Libby’s phone with only three words heard: “Down the hill.”

On Monday, the police released additional parts of the audio recording from Libby’s phone.

While it is difficult to decipher what is said in the clip, the person talking … is the person on the bridge with the girls … listening to it very carefully, “noted Carter.

Former Delphi resident Clint Rayne is frightening to think the suspects life or work in society.

“It makes you wonder if your children have come in contact with this person,” he told ABC News after the press conference. “Does he work at school? Does he work at McDonald’s?”

Carter, who talked about the killer, said at the press conference: “What will the nearest ones think of when they find you brutally murdered two little girls, two children? Only one coward would do such a thing.”

Carter promised not to stop searching until an arrest was made.
