Google wants to make it easier to relay live video on YouTube . Through the official blog for creators of the video platform , the company shows some of the news that is about to arrive to the service, to facilitate the work to the creators when it comes to broadcasting live video.
One of the main changes, which will benefit all those youtubers with an Android smartphone, will be the possibility of broadcast live from the camera application of the device , without the need to resort to the YouTube app or third-party software.
The first novelty announced by the YouTube team, aims to eliminate the need to make use of encoder or third-party software to be able to perform live streaming from a computer . From now on, it will be enough to access the recently enabled web page , and start broadcasting live through the webcam of the computer. This method, for now, is only available through the Google Chrome browser.
But the change that matters most to us as Android users, is the arrival of live videos to the mobile camera application. From YouTube they assure that This system will be integrated in the camera app of some devices of Asus, LG, Motorola, Nokia and Samsung . However, the objective is to take this function to more terminals through the platform YouTube Mobile Live deep link , to which manufacturers and developers already have access.
At the moment the exact functioning of this function has not been specified, although we assume that it will be presented as a new button in the toolbar of the camera app of each device , which will allow you to start a live video on YouTube without having to access the video application itself.
