When you think of traditional brands of traditional phones, it is very likely that Sharp is not the first (neither the second, nor the third, …) option that comes to mind, but little by little we are seeing how the company is finding a gap in the markets with interesting terminals.
And to continue that upward progression, the people of Sharp have announced a Extension of its catalog for this summer. In total, the Japanese firm will launch 5 terminals in the month of June, one of them being a high-end device that will use a panel with IGZO technology.
Let’s start with this terminal, which would have a processor like the Snapdragon 845, 4 GB RAM, 64 storage and more than 3000 mAh of battery. Regarding your screen, in addition to the aforementioned IGZO technology, we would be in front of a 6-inch panel with QuadHD resolution . As if that were not enough, we will have a double rear sensor 22.6 + 16 megapixels . According to the information, its starting price will be $ 999, so it will not have easy rivals.
Second, the one baptized internally as E-P1 would come to replicate a design very similar to the iPhone X and Sharp Aquos S3 specifications : 5.99-inch screen with FullHD resolution, 6 GB of RAM and 64 of ROM and a double rear sensor of 12 + 13 megapixels. The main difference would be found in the jump in the processor, from a Snapdragon 630 to the 660 model. On a somewhat lower scale, we would find a E-H1, a device with less RAM, smaller screen and a single rear sensor . In this case we would have the Snapdragon 630 as the terminal engine.
For the input ranges Sharp has wanted to prepare two terminals with very similar specifications. Both share 5.7 inch screen, HD + resolution, 4000 mAh battery and processor manufacturer, MediaTek . The difference is found in the cameras and the amounts of RAM and internal storage.

It remains to be seen if all these features and terminals are finally released and to which markets they arrive. For now, only we know they will be available in Europe . We will also see what happens with the pricing policy, since these terminals seem too expensive considering the little pull that Sharp has on the continent.
What do you think of these terminals?
