San Francisco 49ers announced Sunday morning that they will release linebacker Reuben Foster, arrested on Saturday night at Tampa, Florida, because of domestic violence.

A arrest report from Hillsborough County Sheriff Office said that Foster was booked in jail at 23.1

1 ET. Bond was set at $ 2000 during a citizen’s hearing on Sunday morning.

Foster was arrested by the Tampa police at 9:10 am at the Grand Hyatt hotel where the team stays before playing Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Secretary General John Lynch and coach Kyle Shanahan said in April after a previous foster violence on home violence finally released as the team had a zero tolerance policy on the issue.

According to a statement from the Tampa police, Foster and a 28-year-old woman were involved in verbal persecution on Saturday night. The woman told the police that Foster “hit her phone from her hand, pushed her in the chest area and hit her with an open hand on the right side of her face,” said the statement. The police said that a thumb scraper was observed on the woman’s left necklace.

The police also said in the statement that Foster and the woman lived together earlier and had been involved in an “om-om-om-forhold” over the past three years. “

Foster has had several run-ins with the law then compiled by 49ers 31st in total in 2017.

Foster was debited in January in Alabama with second-degree marijuana possession. The accusation was terminated eventually after completing an in-depth course for the first time.

Foster was then subjected to more serious charges for an event at Los Gatos, California, in February. He was originally charged in April with felonies for domestic violence, which made criminal threats and weapons possession after being accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend.

A judge decided that there was no probable cause for the first two allegations after the ex-girlfriend returned. The allegations and the referee found no other evidence to support the charges. The weapon fee was reduced to a misunderstanding, and Foster did not accuse any fight against it in June.

He was sentenced to two years of probation, 232 hours of community service and 235 dollars in fines. He must not be allowed to own guns while he is on trial.

After the charges were released, Lynch said Foster was told that he would have to continue to earn his place on the team with good behavior.

Foster interrupted the first two games of the season to violate NFL’s behavior and abuse policy.

Foster has fought on the field this season as he has treated injury to shoulders and hamstring. He had missed the last two matches due to a hamstring injury and had been dubbed as doubtful for Sunday.

Foster has 29 tackles in six matches this season without sacks, forced swings, fumble rebounds or interceptions. He has also missed 10 tackles in six matches, according to SportRadar, and has the second highest degree of missed tackles among any linebacker with at least 200 snaps on defense.
