Samantha Bee throws her frame in the competing world of storytelling and documentary film with the newly formed production company Swimwear Competition, which she wants to clarify is NOT a scholarship program.

TBS’s Emmy-winning late night host will create original content that she and the team enjoy having fun and would definitely spend a weekend guard.

In today’s announcement, Bee said they are looking for good ideas from people flying under the radar or whose work has been underestimated.

“Well, if none of you are going to make the TV I want to watch, I’ll do it myself,” says Bee in today’s announcement, adding that the swimsuit competition is so open that it will also consider working with men.

The company has signed a first-rate agreement with TBS to develop original content and will initially focus on developing content for television.

Christian Everman, producer of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee “The White House Correspondents Dinner” and Rundown with Robin Thede has been appointed Swimsuit Competition Development Manager. Everman began his career on entertainment at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and also previously worked on Precious: Based on the novel “Push” by Safir, Come and Say It, Hard People and Odd Mom Out .

At the same time, new episodes of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee to start Wednesday. Now in its third season, the program satirizes weekly news and explores other important stories in depth that are largely overlooked by more traditional media.
