A Mason City School’s fourth degree has died just days after she was diagnosed with strep throat and flu, school officials said.
Sable Gibson was diagnosed Tuesday morning, which, according to school officials, led to a cardiac arrest Tuesday afternoon.
School officials asked members of the community to have pink Thursday in support of Sable.
Rivers Crossing Community Church in Mason Held and Vigil Wednesday night for Sable.

Our Comet Family amore tonight after reading that one of our fourth degree, Sable Gibson, died tonight. Sables family shares that their cute daughter was diagnosed with strep throat and flu on Tuesday morning which led to cardiac arrest Tuesday afternoon.
