When Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aimé was discovered in September with a Metroid t-shirt along with Geoff Keighley, rumors rumored that a special message should be made at The Game Awards. We are now days out from the annual event in Los Angeles, so what can we expect?

According to the Swedish retailer Inet, Metroid Prime Trilogy was released on the Nintendo Switch in February 201

9. This is a bit strange because the retailer claims that the product is only rumored in the translation, but suspected that the game will be announced at the Game Awards later this week. Swedish users on ResetEra have said that Inet is a “reliable” reseller.

Bayonetta Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are featured by Reggie at last year’s Game Awards before Bayonetta 3 . This has led to speculation that Metroid Prime Trilogy will pave the way for a Metroid Prime 4 reveal. Earlier this week, the German dealer MediaMarkt also listed Assassin’s Creed Compilation for multiple platforms, including Switch.

Metroid Prime Trilogy by Retro Studios and Nintendo was released in 2009 and contains the first two entries from the GameCube generation and the last one from the Wii generation.
