The police said that about 20 people were on the bus and their ages ranged from adults to toddlers.

BERKLEY – Two people were seriously injured after a bus crash in Berkley on Saturday night

Police said two adults were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.

Several other people were taken to Morton and Charlton Hospital with minor injuries.

Police said 25 people were on the bus and their age range from adults to toddlers and the bus travels from the LaSalette Shrine in North Attelboro and returns to Tiverton, Rhode Island.

Police said the bus group visited the Shrine’s Festival of Light Show, which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

The Massachusetts police said that Route 24 Southbound was closed near exit 11 for a school bus crash that occurred around 10 o’clock. The Taunton police said the route was opened shortly after. 11

The authorities said the bus ran off the road into the right shoulder and into a ditch but did not roll.

A trailer company works to remove the bus from the wooded area.

Police said that a passenger vehicle also got off the road and the women’s foot was not injured.

According to the police, the woman has been accused of OUI, but it is unclear whether her deterioration played a role in the crash.

The state police collision and reconstruction team investigates the cause of the crash.
