Michael Douglas honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and he shared the moment with those he loved most.
The 74-year-old actor gave a hearty speech after his induction on Tuesday after nearly five decades to work in Hollywood.
Douglas was joined by some of his closest family members, including his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, son Cameron Douglas and his 101-year-old father and actor Kirk Douglas – whose own star on the Walk of Fame was nearby.
Jane Fonda, Douglas’s former agent Ron Meyer, Will & Grace star Eric McCormack and Andy Garcia also participated.
Kominsky Method star talked about his close 50 years in the industry and said that the question he asked most about his career is “What took so long?” when it comes to finally getting a star on the Walk of Fame.
