PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) – A Portland cyclist has crossed her face and neck after driving into a booby trap on a bike path.

And the police said the trap was intentional.

They arrested three men who did it.

Carlene Ostedgaard always rides on the road near the Max Station along the I-205 and Southeastern division.

But on Friday evening she was on a slope and hit a snag.

“What hot and I could actually feel the pieces shattering my face,” said Ostedgaard.

Tolman-Duran, 21-year-old Dakota E. Murphy and 23-year-old Justin J. Jones were booked for assaults and ruthless threats. They have since been released.

“I cried, it was like this feeling of sadness and despair as people would do Ostedgaard. “But then there are many injured people and I just happened to be in the way.”
