When you transfer your Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon: Let’s go, Pikachu / Let’s go Eevee, make sure you do nothing to interrupt the process, Nintendo says. Canceling the transfer may cause you to lose some of your Pokemon from Pokemon Go.
To ensure that the process is not interrupted, Nintendo highlighted some best practices on its support site. When you decide to start moving your Pokemon from Go Over to Let’s Go, make sure you avoid clicking the Home or Power button on your Switch. You also do not want to press the home button, turn off Bluetooth, or turn off the Pokemon Go app on your mobile device. Nintendo also recommends that you hold your mobile device and change the console close to each other during the process to ensure a smooth transition.
The following tips should prevent any problems when transferring your Pokemon. If you notice that your transfer has in some way interrupted itself or has not completely relocated your entire Pokemon, Nintendo recommends that you turn off the Pokemon Go app and uninstall it. After you reinstall the game, you should be able to resume the transfer. But Pokemon that was between your mobile device and Switch could be lost too well, “because uninstalling and reinstalling the app would get the transferring process to get stuck in limbo.”
