Pabst Blue Ribbon will apparently live on. MillerCoors and Pabst Brewing Co. made a contract finding Wednesday where Pabst claimed that the brewery threatened to extinguish it. While no conditions were announced immediately, “The parties have kindly solved all outstanding issues in the case,” said a Pabst spokesman in a statement. The winding up came as a jury on its first full day of deliberations. MillerCoors has produced and transported most of Pabst beer since 1999 but argued that it could not continue after the contract expired in 2020. Pabst claimed that MillerCoors tried to turn off a competitor and ignored a contract that allowed two five-year extensions of the store. MillerCoors is the US subsidiary of MolsonCoors Brewing Co.
