Northeast Philadelphia high school students offered pizza for HIV testing

A parent of a 13-year-old student at Austin Meehan Middle School says their children were tested without their consent. Now, the Philadelphia Health Department confirms that they worked with a group called SPEAK OUT, and that this was organized by Councilman Bobby Henon's office to offer free HIV testing for Lincoln High School students. They put up the habit of a nearby pizza plate and obviously did not realize that it was also close to the middle school. Regarding the age requirement, the Health Department says in the state of Pennsylvania, anyone who is legalizing HIV testing &#821 1; regardless of their age – can be tested. The health department says it is unfortunate that some middle school students were tested, but it is not sick egal.
