Week 12 in 2018 The NFL regular season schedule is in the books. Now it’s time to see where all 32 teams are ranked. For reference purposes here is a link to last week’s NFL Power Rankings.
1 – Los Angeles Rams (Last week: 2) – Ramsna is back on top for the first time since losing to New Orleans. It only took them 13 weeks to officially pass NFC West.
2 – Kansas City Chiefs (LW: 3) – Losing Kareem Hunt undoubtedly makes this team’s thank you. With Pat Mahomes around, the managers are still pretty handsome.
1; New Orleans Saints (LW: 1) – The Saints turned into a terrible offensive performance against Dallas. This team will probably bounce back and be OK but they showed that they are not as innocent as they appeared.
4 – New England Patriots (LW: 5) – Must be nice to play in AFC East every year.
5 – Los Angeles Chargers (LW: 6) – Bollarna just won a game as they never win. Maybe this is their year ?!
6 – Houston Texans (LW: 7) – Nine wins in line for the Texans. Look at their remaining schedule (IND, @NYJ, @PHI, JAX), it is not impossible that they can win.
7 – Seattle Seahawks (LW: 9) – Seattle is a safe bet on No. 5 seeds in the NFC final. They are more vulnerable from home, but they can still be difficult for No. 4 seeds … like Dallas or Philadelphia.
8 – Chicago Bears (LW: 4) – Going 1-1 in two Chase Daniel starts is about what to expect.
9 – Baltimore Ravens (LW: 11) – The Ravens are in a good location for an AFC wildcard scene. They can even steal AFC North away from Pittsburgh.
10 – Dallas Cowboys (LW: 13) – Keeping the Saints to only 10 points is a rather impressive achievement. The Dallas defense is legit. So much that it can help deny Dak Prescott trying to give away the game. Probably not good enough there, points 13 points will make them win in the playoffs.
11 – Denver Broncos (LW: 14) – Remember when Broncos was a “seller” at the NFL trade fair? Well, now they’re back in the mix for a wild slot. Denver ranked sixth in DVOA on its way to this week. They can jump up to fifth with Chicago to lose.
12 – Pittsburgh Steelers (LW: 10) – Two consecutive losses have weakened their grip on AFC North. The Steelers get Oakland this week but then they have to play New England and New Orleans in back-to-back games.
13 – Indianapolis Colts (LW: 8) – It has been an overall good season for Frank Reich but to close
14 – Minnesota Vikings (LW: 12) – John DeFilippo draws Ire from Mike Zimmer and Kirk Cousins Is now 32-35-1 as a starter, 4-22 against teams ending the season with 9+ wins and 8-25 against teams ending the 8+ winner season.
15 – Philadelphia Eagles (LW: 17) – The Eagles season still lives for at least one week. Philadelphia can take the division with a victory in Dallas.
16 – Tennessee Titans (LW: 20) – Who the fan knows what to do in this Titans team. They deserve a rank that is not even a real number.
17 – Miami Dolphins (LW: 22) – In the pursuit of an AFC Wild Card Spot as the seventh seed at that conference.
18 – Cleveland Browns (LW: 15) – Brown’s outdated chance to make the playoff made a hit with a decisive loss in Houston.
19 – Carolina Panthers (LW: 16) – Fraud that has lost four in a row. Good thing Philly did not beat a 17-0 lead to this squad.
20 – Washington Redskins (LW: 19) – Things do not look so good with Mark Sanchez as their start for the rest of 2018. 21 – Detroit Lions (LW: 21) – It’s painful that the Lions need a new offensive coordinator.
22 – Green Bay Packers (LW: 18) – Packers finally made the right and kicked Mike McCarthy. All that was taken was a pathetic home loss to Arizona.
23 – Atlanta Falcons (LW: 23) – In this season, someone believed that Falcons had one of the most talented rosters in the league. They are 4-8 to 12 matches.
24 – New York Giants (LW: 26) – The giants recall meaningless gains that only serve to destroy their draft position. Be grateful to Pat Shurmur.
25 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers (LW: 27) – With Jameis Winston playing better can Dirk Koetter’s job be scared? Although the offensive success is more attributable to Todd Monken.
26 – Jacksonville Jaguars (LW: 28) – Impressive win for you to turn off a Colts crime that had been really good recently. Hard to move up when Cody Kessler is your first quarterback.
27 – Buffalo Bills (LW: 24) – The bills have not become incompetent since 4 November. This is a complement.
28 – Arizona Cardinals (LW: 31) – Well, you can not say the players have completely given up on Steve Wilks.
29 – Cincinnati Bengals (LW: 25) – Marvin Lewis era may finally be over. Really this time.
30 – New York Jets (LW: 29) – Jets owns the league’s current longest losing streak on six games. The end of Todd Bowles era is really close.
31 – Oakland Raiders (LW: 31) – Officially is eliminated from playoff contention.
32 – San Francisco 49ers (LW: 32) – Same as Oakland. Bay Area football? More like Bad Area football. Nailed it.
