Heit will not be the only smartphone that will be added to the Samsung catalog today. The firm announced today two new members of its Galaxy J family, aimed at all those who love big-screen phones. The Samsung Galaxy J6 and J8 2018 are two affordable mid-range smartphones, with modern design and humble features , which debuted in the Indian market to, perhaps, make the leap to the international market over the coming weeks.
Samsung has taken advantage this Monday to renew its intermediate segment of smartphones, with two terminals that take over from the latest generation of Galaxy J phones , showing an updated design and features adapted to the times.
The two new members of the Galaxy J family of Samsung join the trend of the reduced frames screens , and adopt an aspect that reminds us of the most premium phones of the company. Both models have an aluminum chassis, and a back that houses the camera and the fingerprint reader, with curvatures on its sides to give a somewhat more premium feel despite being relatively cheap terminals.
As for the size of their screens, they are 5.6 and 6 inches diagonal for the J6 and J8 respectively , in both cases with HD + resolution, AMOLED technology and 18.5: 9 format. The Exynos 7870 processor is responsible for the interior, with 14 nm and 8 cores in the case of the J6, and the Snapdragon 450, with the same architecture of 14 nm and 8 cores, for the larger screen diagonal model.
We also find differences at the memory level, since the Galaxy J6 can be purchased in versions of 3 or 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of expandable storage, while the J8 will be available only with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage , also expandable. Its batteries are 3,000 and 3,550 mAh, and in both cases Android 8.0 Oreo is the operating system that Samsung Experience is responsible for camouflaging.
Photography is taken care of a unique 13-megapixel rear sensor on the Galaxy J6 , but the J8 makes the leap to dual systems with 16 + 5 megapixels in its back , that enable the famous Live Focus mode that the firm has already included in other terminals. At the time of the selfies we will enjoy an 8 or 16 megapixel sensor respectively.
