November 30, 2018 Sports 0 Views Golden State Warrior's Guard Stephen Curry warms up before the team's NBA basketball game…
Golden State Warrior’s star Stephen Curry helped solve a problem that a “disappointed” 9-year-old girl had when she acted for the guard’s signature Under Armor sneaker.
The girl, whose name is Riley, wrote a letter to Curry on November 18th, describing a question she had when she tried to buy the Curry 5’s before the start of her baskets season. The letter was shared on the father’s Instagram page.
“My dad and I visited the Under Armor website and were disappointed that there were no Curry 5s for sale under the girls section”, read the letter. “But they sold them for sale during the boy’s episode, even to adapt. I know you support girlfriends because you have two daughters and you are hosting a girls match in all girls. I hope you can work with Under Armor to change This is because girls want to rock Curry 5’s. “
Riley, a Napa, California, also told Teen Vogue that she wrote the letter not only to wear the sneakers, but to give girls the same chances that boys get.
After her letter became viral on social media, Curry responded with a note on Thursday.
“Unfortunately, we have noticed smaller sizes like” boys “on the site” Curry wrote in his note . “We’re correcting this now! I want to make sure you can carry my kicks proudly so I’ll send you a couple of Curry 5s now, and you’ll be one of the first kids to get Curry 6.”
Curry added Under Armor had a special plan for International Women’s Day on March 8, calling on Riley to celebrate with him in Oakland. The wars take on Denver Nuggets that night.
