NASA’s Voyager 2 spacecraft flew close to Uranus, the seventh planet from the sun, in January 1986.

The nearest space arrived within 81,500 kilometers from Uranus cloud peaks on January 24, 1986.

Voyager 2 radiated thousands of pictures and extensive lots of other scientific data on the planet, its moons, rings, atmosphere, decor and the magnetic environment surrounding Uranus.
