A NASA post on March 6 stated that the moon began to move over the sun and then doubled and recaptured its steps in the other direction.
It was as it looked from the Nasa Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) in orbit around the world, which sent back puzzling data and images.
How NASA went to space
The Space Agency explained that the Moon’s unusual apparent behavior during this transit is a phenomenon similar to retrograde motion of celestial objects. This causes objects to move backwards because of how different objects move at different speeds at different points in their paths.
