Ketogenic diet-friendly snacks! 🔥 – Are you following a low-carb ketogenic diet? If so I would share some snacks that could make it easier to handle it. 👊🏼 – Typical ketogenic diets require that you minimize carbohydrate intake to 5-10% calories (give or depend on activity levels) while filling the rest with fat (about 60%) and protein (about 30-35%). – In my book Genius Foods, I recommend what I call INTERMITTENT ketosis. I’m not a fan of never being in ketos, and I’m not a fan of being in ketos for your average person. – 👉🏼 Some notes: Biltong is an air dried beef seasoned with vinegar and spices, no sugar (unlike meat-spiced!). And for delicate meat, please stick to those who are minimally processed and do not contain additives, fillers and preservatives. And finally, for preserved fish, make sure the fish is packed in either water, extra virgin olive oil or tomato sauce.
